Day 2

Another very light day. Only one race managed in around 7 hours on the water, which was very close but we didn't manage to win.

Boats are all packed up now and the sailors are on the way to the airport for their flight home.

Update from Ben.

Difficult day today, lots of learning against good and more experienced team racing teams.

All off the water, full of pasta and about to head back to the host family's house.

More win forecast for tomorrow, so hopefully more sailing more quickly...

Photo from during sailing earlier.

1st day

First day and the wind did eventually come in.  A few countries have sent their words teams including Finland with Astrid Still who was one of the the Finish girls at out nationals.

GRB lost 5 and won one against Estonia.  Lots of learning!

Photos waiting for the wind.

After 1 1/2 hour delay in the flight the team arrived in Berlin.  After sorting out the boats they went out for a quick 'interesting' sail as Ben described it.

The sailors all went on a tour of Berlin last night as well and saw all the major sights, including an amazing donut shop which the sailors said was the highlight of a tour which included the Brandenburg gate, sections of the Berlin wall and the holocaust memorial !!!!

Racing postponed, eating cakes -  waiting on shore for wind and for the fog over the lake to burn off!
